About me

Hello, I’m Pon, an art creator and a wool felting educator. With 10 years of teaching experience since 2014, I focus on sharing wool felting techniques and fostering creative development.

I offer a variety of courses and have had the privilege of being invited to give lectures. Additionally, I provide online courses to support beginners and those looking to enhance their skills.

In 2020, I had the opportunity to collaborate with DHG in Italy to launch the Antenna Creature series. In 2023, I was invited to participate in the 'Healing Realm' exhibition at the Miaoli North Arts and Culture Center.

I am passionate about refining my skills and exploring different perspectives, regularly engaging in courses both locally and abroad. As someone who loves teaching, my goal is to help each individual discover their own creativity and passion, using wool as a medium to explore new possibilities in life."

Pon Huang

Peng Rui sees wool as the main material to create sculptures since 2012, inspired by her own natural surroundings, she embraces the simplicity of the world she inhabits and finds the beauty in things. She is always searching and learning new things, tend to fuse everyday life into her creative works. Good at interpreting characters with refreshing and minimal style to accentuate their key features.

Through creating works of diverse level, explore the way people think, open the door to start possible dialogues with the public, and to observe, study, and explore different facade of the world.
