Miss Earth is a character series inspired by the landforms of our planet.
Pon imagines mountains, forests, and oceans as egg‑like forms that hold and nurture life, then sculpts them into abstract patterned characters using wool felt as the sole medium. The egg shape symbolizes a fragile environment that requires careful attention—temperature, humidity, and many other conditions must be tended to so that life can grow.
The Earth becomes a larger vessel that holds all of these “eggs,” each with its own climate, terrain, and living beings. Through gentle, quietly playful forms, this series invites viewers to reflect on their relationship with the land and to see caring for the environment as a way of caring for the spaces that sustain their everyday lives.
